Founded in India in 1971, Canara Refrigeration Works & Kitchen Equipment, deals with a wide spectrum of industries in areas such as refrigerations, home appliances, kitchen equipments, freezers, catering kitchen equipments, hotel kitchen equipments, coolers, & display showcases .
We have carved a reputation for our products in the local, as well as national market. Our facilities help us to design and develop products that meet the specific requirements of our clients in an efficient manner. Moreover, we have been able to set standards for productivity and quality or our equipment design and have become one of the most preferred manufacturer and exporter of kitchen systems.
Our Story
Where it all started
Canara Refrigeration works was established in the year 1971 by K Gopal (popularly known as Kadekar Gopal Raayaru) who had 10 years of work experience. With a trust in his work and a dream in his mind, K gopal started CRW in a 400 sqft office with just one office assistant. The belief of clarity in mind and purity in heart led CRW in becoming a household name in Udupi. The journey did not end here. K Gopal wanted to make a mark in the industry. Hence with the hardwork & sincerity, the founder and his team worked with their heart and soul and they never compromised on quality.
His son, Vijay k , joined CRW in 1993. With his vision, dedication, and innovative approach, he introduced modern techniques, advanced machinery, and improved manufacturing practices. His leadership strengthened the company's capabilities, enhanced product quality, and enabled Canara Refrigeration Works to cater to a wider range of customer requirements.
In 1996, Canara Refrigeration Works was renamed Canara Equipments, reflecting the company's expanded scope of products and services.
Today, Canara Equipments has grown into a trusted and well-established organization, ready to take on new challenges with confidence and innovation. Backed by over five decades of experience, the company continues to serve a large and satisfied customer base while remaining committed to quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
